Ruger –                      Heady –         Kyra

Ruger:

1^st day:  Wins breed and qualifies in the semi finals for top ten 2009

2^nd day: Wins his Grand class, he also places as the #7 Top Ten for 2009

3^rd day: Wins the grand class wins breed and gets a group 2 placement and qualifies in Rally for is 2^nd RO2 leg with 87 points

4^th day:  Titles in rally for his RO2 with a score of 95.

Heady:

4^th day:  Gets her 2^nd leg in RO2 Rally with a score of 100 and is 1 second shy of High in Trail.

Heady also was entered in her 1^st OPEN trial and here is what happen.

We already did the honor stuff out of site and she past that. Now it is her and my turn and I am more nervous than when I went in to the final Top Ten…Heady had a lot of dumbbell trouble that we had to work thru so I was hoping that she at least will go and get the dumbbell…

Healing & figure 8 was ok she can be better but ok…drop on recall…yippee she did it and then the retrieve on the flat…I am getting her all excided and throw it she gets it… you should have seen my smile, so big ) and then the retrieve over the high jump…I throw the thing way too far and it lands almost at the end of the ring. I know she cannot see it so will she do it?… I send her and she clears the jump grabs the dumbbell and comes flying back in to a perfect front…I hardly could wait to finish her before I jumped up and down…we did it, the rest I did not care. She did the broad jump and we qualified up to that point…3 minutes sit out of side…ok we did not practice that much and I was maybe to confident. 22 seconds before the 3 minutes were over she laid down…NQ was I sad? Yes a little bit but I was so happy about the dumbbell that I really did not care that much. Yes it would have been nice to take the 1^st leg in open home after 8+ years but hay it’s all ok there are many more trials to come and I know we can do it … Silke

Ruger got his last 2 legs and therefore title in Rally Advanced with at 1^st and a 4^th placement. He also took 2 breed reserve win. Great weekend for us.

…is still flying on cloud #9 after a fantastic weekend in Harrisonburg VA @ Shenandoah Valley Kennel Club April 10/11, 2010

Saturday:

Ruger took a reserve in the breed ring with his new favorite friend Lisa Hundley and then got his 1st AKC Rally Advanced leg with a score of 90 ) Silly boy choose to show everybody that he likes to be an agility dog. Took the jump 2 times, called him off once but the next time there was no way it was just to tempting…glad to see that he had fun )

Sunday:

Even though we had a ring time and judge change Lisa decided to stay to show Ruger. And what a good thing because the new “DREAM TEAM” took the “POINT”… I cried ) …. don’t know how I got home, I think I flew on that cloud called #9. Still up there … the view is great … can somebody please throw me an anchor so I can come and teach class tonight????

March 20 & 21, 2010:

At the IABCA show in Richmond , “Ruger” – UGRCH, URO1, San Rafael ’s The Enemy Below, RN, CGC received his International Champion title. In 4 shows he took breed 2 times, a group 3 and a group 1. And thanks to Lisa Hundley, for showing him to perfection, he won a Best In Show!!!

Rally: Ruger got at 97 and therefore his RO1 title. Heady got a 98 (3rd Place) and also got her RO1 title. Both dogs moved up to Rally Level 2 (OFF Leash) and both Qualified “Yippee”. Ruger with an 84 and Heady with a 99 (3^rd Place) they had some great competition there this weekend.

In show: Ruger pulled it together again. That little man was in the show ring 12 times and came out with placements and ribbons 11 times. He took Breed every time and he also got 3 Group 1 placements and 2 Reserve Best In Multi Breed.

Also Ruger was awarded 2 “Total Dog” awards. (2 more ribbons)

All in all, I was in the ring with my dogs 16 times and walked out with 15 ribbons and came home with 17 ribbons. If this goes on like that I will have to add on to the house…

Show/trial brags from the UKC show in New Kent VA (Jan. 9/10, 2010):

Heady (UCH, UCD Lyndobe’s Head of the Class CGC, CD, RAE) – got her 1^st & 2^nd leg in Rally Level 1 with a 97 and a 100 with a High in Trail.

Ruger (UGRCH San Rafael’s The Enemy Below CGC, RN) – took a Group 3, a Group 1 and Best In Multiple Breed. He also got his 1^st & 2^nd leg in Rally Level 1 with a 95 and a 93 and he got 2 Total Dog Awards.

Silke Satzinger brags from the Doberman Pinscher Club Nationals Oct. 10 – 16, 2009:

Heady (U-CH Lyndobe’s Head Of The Class U-CD, CD, RAE) got leg 11 & 12 for Rally Advanced & Excellent with friend Vicky in the ring. They got 3 third and 1 fourth places. Heady also past the Doberman Pinscher Working Aptitude Evaluation. (WAC)

Ruger (U-GRCH San Rafael’s The Enemy Below CGC/TDI) took 2 first placements in breed in his class at the DPCA regional/nationals and also got his “Rally Novice” title with 2 third placements.

At Virginia Beach Kennel Club Match Ruger’s 1^st attended at Rally Novice B got him a 2^nd place. He also took a Group 1 in breed. Heady took 1^st Place in Rally Advanced.
We had a great time and like to say THANKS to all the great HROTC volunteers your guys “rock”

From Deven Grimaldi:
“Gandalf” Twin Ponds Grimaldi’s Wizard CD RE NJ-N CGC earned his Rally Excellent in 3 tries at the Hampton shows in May.
“Grissom” Grimaldi’s CSI vom True Haus RN CGC earned his Rally Novice in 3 tries and also passed his CGC.
“Tony” Sandy Ridge Bada Bing RN earned his Rally Novice with scores of 92/ 98/ 100.
All 3 of these dogs are owned/ trained/ handled by Deven Grimaldi

I would like to share that my niece, Janie Poore, and our german shepherd puppy bitch, Lily, passed the Canine Good Citizen Test with Lee on May 27th. Lily was 1 day shy of being 6 months old. I am very proud of both of them. Janie is only 10 years old and just got into training last year with my 10 year old standard poodle, Sarah.

Synama’s Tequila Sunrise (“Tiki”), my 10 & 1/2 yr old Siberian Husky, finished her Rally Excellent on Memorial Day, so she now has a CD, RE, ATT, CGC, TD after her name.
Tiki has 9 pts toward her Championship, but never finished. She also ran on my 4-Dog purebred sleddog racing team in 1998 & 1999.
If I get lucky with dumbbell training, we might go for her CDX this year!

My Doberman Pinscher “Cayman” (Trump’s Grand Cayman) passed his CGC under Lee Hussey at the age of 7 months. At the age of 8 months he earned 100 points towards his UKC Conformation title with 1 competition win. He needs 2 more competition wins to receive his Champion title.
At the age of 9 months he earned his Rally Novice title at the Memorial Cluster at the Hampton Conference Center. His dad, Gary, my friend, Silke, and I are very very proud of this young boy. Way to go Cayman.

Congratulations to Nancy Juda and Bambi on getting Novice Obedience (Companion Dog) and Rally Novice titles, completing both Obedience and Rally titles within one month of showing. Nancy and Bambi finished each of the titles in 3 straight shows!
Novice Obedience scored 191, 188+, 189, with two 4th placings,
and a “bumper leg” of 191 1/2 and 2nd place. Rally Novice scored 95, 99, 99, with two 3rd places. Congratulations, Nancy and Majic Cast-A-Spell URA QTPIE, CD RN

Memorial Cluster Brags:
I would like to let you all know that I had a great Memorial Day weekend and I hope you did too.
For a quick run down –
Lyndobe’s Head of the Class (Heady) got 3 double qualifying scores this weekend. Now she has 4 legs towards her Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE) title. (For the title you need 10 double qualifying scores).
Trump’s Grand Cayman (Cayman) titled this weekend in Rally Novice B (RN).
Here is the longer version if you are interested:
1st day Heady and I in Rally Excellent…I NQ because of handler errors,therfore I never entered Rally Advanced that day and called it day. I also had a conflict in the breed ring and I had to go back to work so it was not my day.
Donna (7 month pregnant) and Cayman (9.5 month old) qualified on their first attempt at Rally Novice B.
2nd day started off with Heady and I in Rally Excellent and we took 5th place out of 32 dogs. Then I showed 2 young puppy bitches in Doberman Breed specialty show and I was up against all big HANDLERS luckily nobody killed me or was mean to me; they were actually very nice. I may try a little bit more of the AKC showing. Anyway, we went back into the Rally Advanced ring and got a qualifying score. That was the 2nd leg for the RAE.
Donna took a Rottweiler in the ring for a friend of ours and qualified. But when it came to her and Cayman, the nerves kicked in and her blood pressure went up and it came to an NQ.
3rd day started off with Heady and I in Rally Excellent and we took 2nd place out of 29 dogs. Then I showed a 7 month old puppy bitch in Doberman Breed. Then went back into the Rally Advanced ring and got another qualifying score. 3rd leg for RAE.
Donna and Cayman pulled it together and got the 2nd leg. But Donna’s blood pressure was still too high and her husband vetoed the situation and said no more showing until after the baby is born. And it actually was too much for young Cayman anyway. But there was still one more leg to get and one more day of showing.
4th day again started of with Heady and I in Rally Excellent and that day Heady left her “head” at home so we barely qualified, which I felt it was nothing to brag about. But in Rally Advanced she found her brain again and we got a great score of 98 out of 100 but didn’t place; oh well, 3 double qualifying scores that was all I really wanted. 4th leg for RAE.
Then it became time for the Rally Novice B dogs to go in. I called Donna to bring Cayman and I would take him in to get his last leg. So no more stress on her and the baby (husband agreed). So I more or less took Cayman in cold…all I did with him was conformation in UKC, so I had no idea what he would do (maybe free stack himself at a front). But that little boy worked his little butt off for me (the boys are just fantastic) and we walked away with a spanking score of 98 out of 100. TITLE!!!!! Trump’s Grand Cayman CGC, RN

It has been a wonderful Spring here at Sea Breeze Agility both in the
agility ring and Rally rings. At the Gloucester KC agility trials, Troubadour Sea Breeze Jet Ski, CGC, OA, OAJ ( Skeeter) finished her Novice
Agility Preferred and her Novice Jumpers Preferred.
Sea Breeze Wind Surfer, CGC OAJ (Winnie) finished her Novice Jumpers Preferred on Saturday, moved up for Sunday and got her 1st Open Jumpers Preferred leg. Now if we could just get out of Novice Standard. Only need one more leg.
Sea Breeze Sandy Shore, CGC (Sandy) picked up two Rally Novice legs at the Hampton Roads Obedience Training Club’s Rally trials and today at the Merrimac obedience/rally trials held in conjunction with the Langley Kennel Club’s breed show, Sea Breeze Sandy Shore, CGC finished her Rally Novice title with a 96.

My German Shepherd bitch “Garmisch, Bavarian Dream of Sandbridge CGC, RN” passed her Canine Good Citizen test at HROTC on November 13, 2007, at the age of 13 months. She earned a leg toward her Rally Novice Title at the HROTC trials at Merrimac and earned two more legs at the Memorial Day Cluster. She went three for three for her title at 18 months old. Garmisch is my first-ever dog so this is all new to me and we’re having a lot of fun (and a little frustration) learning about this sport! I’d like to thank Lee Hussey, Nancy Juda, and Silke Satzinger for all their training assistance and support.

Silke Satzinger’s Doberman Ruger “U-GRCH San Rafael’s The Enemy Below CGC” won at Winston Salem NC UKC show 4 Best In Breed, 4 Group 1, and 2 Best In Multi Breed Shows. He is now the # 5 Top Ten breed dog.

July 17-19, 2009
Donna Reed’s Doberman Cayman “U-CH Trump’s Grand Cayman CGC, RN” continued showing in UKC and got 4 UKC reserve champion wins on the weekend of July 17-19 in Manassas VA. What a great win just one day before he relay retired his show career.
